'Dengue Attack' in Pakistan Especially in Punjab

From the last few weeks dengue virus has caused several deaths in Pakistan especially in the biggest province Punjab. Lahore and all other cities of Punjab province are under the severe attack of 'Dengue' and still it is getting pace.

According to the latest official figures, around 5000 people in Punjab are affected by this dangerous
virus. Plenty of cases has been reported in Sindh and a few in Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa as well. These are just the official figures and ground realities can be much more worse, as reported by many different NEWS Channels and reporters.

Punjab Government and especially Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shehbaz Sharif is trying to overcome the problem but at the moment the situation can never be regarded as 'Under-control'.

Dengue Wards have been established in almost all major public hospitals and patients are getting free treatments but there are lots of problems including lack of expertise among medical staff, lesser number of beds and medicine etc. Also Chief Minister directed all private hospitals to establish special dengue wards and provide free treatment to all dengue patients. Today, Chief Minister again warned the private hospitals by saying that strong action will be taken against private hospitals if they ignored dengue patients.

Mosquito is the main cause of this dangerous fever. Dengue Mosquito is usually found around clean water so do not leave any water tank open or do not let rain water gathers around or inside your home.
